Dr Lasitha Vitharana is an experienced General Practitioner with over 16 years of clinical expertise across Family Medicine, Accident & Emergency, and Surgery. She has completed advanced training including an MD in Family Medicine, MRCGP (International), and the Australian Medical Council exam. Dr Lasitha is recognised by the RACGP as Partially Comparable in the PEP Specialist Stream, highlighting her high standard of professional competence.
She is passionate about providing patient-centred, holistic care and enjoys supporting patients of all ages with both acute presentations and ongoing health management. Her broad training has also included rotations in paediatrics, women’s health, mental health, emergency medicine, and chronic disease management.
Outside of medicine, Dr Lasitha is looking forward to settling in Australia with her young family and becoming an active part of the local community.
